Macora brings disk space, memory, battery and maintenance tools together in one native Mac app. Review what it proposes before applying changes, and keep control of what goes to Trash.
How it works

Review before cleanup
Cleaner finds eligible older cache and diagnostic files and groups them for individual review. Nothing is selected automatically; approved items are moved to Trash, which you empty yourself in Finder.

Understand what uses space
Analyser measures a folder, lets you open child folders and can reveal entries in Finder.

Review apps before uninstalling
Uninstaller shows a review of the files that would be removed before it can proceed. Documents are excluded, and an incomplete or unsafe review stops the operation.

Preview maintenance actions
Maintenance refreshes caches and services only after a preview. Activity keeps a local record of app actions and earlier maintenance history.
Install
- Download the ZIP and double-click it to extract the app.
- Move the app into Applications.
- Open the app. It is signed by Pocket Giant and notarised by Apple.
Good to know
- Nothing is silently emptied.
- Cleanup moves selected files to Trash. They remain there until you empty Trash in Finder, and disk space is not reclaimed before then.
- Selective cleanup is native.
- It works without a helper. Some other maintenance features require the Homebrew helper mole (`mo`), which is not included in the download.
- macOS 14 or later.
- Macora 1.0 supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It needs no account, network service or analytics.
Made by Pocket Giant. The download is signed with Developer ID and notarised by Apple. It contains the Macora app; the optional Homebrew helper is not bundled.
